The foundation of good government is transparency. Without it, voters don’t know what officials are doing, and can’t hold them accountable. The CT Freedom of Information Act grants transparency, but unfortunately, some officials don’t understand FOIA, or choose to ignore it. And many voters don’t realize what information they are entitled to. I would work to make sure we all fully understand and follow the FOIA.
