As a lifelong Fairfielder, I want to give back to the Town and make a difference. I currently serve on the RTM and have had the opportunity to examine and discuss the budgets for the Town and Education, Capital Improvement Projects, and various town contracts. When elected, I will continue to be there for my constituents.

I have attended RTM meetings regularly since 2006, giving me a depth of knowledge that has been handy since my appointment this year to fill a vacancy. As a result, I can tell you that key issues are Quality of Life issues such as infrastructure and safety along with the needs of Seniors and Education.

I am ready to walk the district, speaking with my neighbors and call those I can’t see face-to-face.

I am committed to making sure that Fairfield remains affordable for our seniors. I also want to make sure that we continue to provide a quality education for our children. I will work to make sure building projects are well planned and executed, and that budgets are as lean as possible.  Fairfield is a beautiful town and a wonderful place to live. We must keep it that way.

I’ve been serving my community with passion since I moved my family here 8 years ago. I believe in fiscal responsibility to not spend beyond our means, so that residents are able to live here as long as they want without feeling they are being forced out due to higher taxes. I believe that it is imperative to maintain and improve on the high quality of education we have in Fairfield as student enrollment continues to increase.

But every resident has a part to play–as a member of the Solid Waste and Recycling Commission, I’ve seen first hand that if we all pitch in and do our part to increase the amount of material we recycle, we can save the town hundreds of thousands of dollars each year with minimal effort.

After serving 4 terms on the RTM, I am still excited to be serving the town in this capacity. I am well educated in the process of managing the town as well as the budget.

My experience will be invaluable over the next 2 years to keep this town’s bond rating at a AAA status, and to keep taxes and spending at the lowest possible levels.
