Eunice Postol Community Service Award
During her entire life, Eunice Postol was dedicated to community service. She gave unselfishly in so many ways to Fairfield. Her contributions as a citizen and as a political leader are evident throughout the Town. Always looking to find new ways to make things happen, she was active in all aspects of the Town including education, recreation, housing, business development and beautification.
Most importantly she was a superb role model for everyone who came in contact with her.
Because of her tireless dedication Fairfield today is a much better place to live.
This award is given annually, at our Century Club Brunch, to a Democrat who has over the past years exemplified the undying
dedication to community service that Eunice Postol provided to the Town. Candidates for this award will have served with distinction in a significant community service effort. Nominations for this award come from the membership of the Democratic Town Committee and are voted on by a majority vote of the party leadership, comprising the current officers and district leaders of the Town Committee.
